Depression Resources


One misconception I can’t stand about depression is that you’re “lazy.” Depression is overwhelmingly and holistically exhausting, as if you’ve lived your whole life fighting and have no energy left to fight anymore. It feels hopeless. No motivation or satisfaction in doing the things you used to enjoy. The world seems grey. Connecting with friends seems impossible, and sometimes, so does showering, brushing your teeth, or getting out of bed. Nothing seems positive. Well, I believe therapy is a great place to start getting out of this “slump.” Therapy increases awareness of why depression started and, even better, with telehealth you can wear pajamas or lay in bed for session! If therapy doesn’t seem right for you yet, below are some resources and tools we hope are helpful for you.
