Resources

Learn more about mental health struggles and find resources for support in these struggles.

  • Anxiety

Anxiety ranges from worry about safety, health, relationships, work, etc. to full blown panic attacks and the inability to sleep or function. Anxiety is rooted in fear. Overcoming those fears in therapy plus the use of coping skills (not just a skincare mask) can help remove anxieties. Below are some tips and tricks to use on your own in tandem with talking to a therapist.

  • Burnout

Stress built up over time can leave us feeling drained, passionless, and irritable. Experiencing burnout is annoying but can also make us feel helpless. However, we are not helpless. We can escape burnout and reconnect to ourselves and our passion with a little work and practice.

  • Depression

Depression can be sneaky. It tries to disguise itself as “a lack of energy” where you just want the sleep and feel drained all the time, which lends to feeling numb. There is more to depression than just that, so click below to learn more about depression. There are resources for those going through depression and for those trying to understand what depression is like.

  • Eating Disorders

Complex does not even begin to describe eating disorders. What may start out as a well meaning desire to “be healthy” can snow ball into a very unhealthy and harmful coping skill. In treating eating disorders, therapy is necessary, but there are other resources that can educate and support those going through it as well as those in supporting roles.

  • Relationships

Dating. Is. Hard. So is being in arguments with our partner, friends, and family. Learn how to heal attachment wounds and communicate in any situation. In therapy, we explore relationship patterns and how attachment, trauma, and other mental health concerns, impact our relationships.

  • Sport Performance

Athletes face immense pressure to perform. Whether that pressure comes from themselves or others, it can lead to perfectionism, mental blocks, performance anxiety, slumps, and so much more. Athletes are people too, so life outside of the gym can also influence performance inside the gym. Finding balance is key.

  • Trauma & EMDR

Everyone experiences trauma throughout life. Now we all experience it differently and experience different severities of trauma, but we are all worth compassion and care. Therapy is a great way to work through traumas you have experienced in life so that they do not have control over you anymore.
