Every athlete deals with performance slumps at least once in their career. Our desire to be perfect and in flow is so important because our sport or speciality takes up so much of our time and energy that we often give up our social livelihood. Athletes also often struggle with injury recovery, body image, eating disorders, identity changes, and transitioning skills from practice into games.You work hard to feel in control, but life keeps throwing curveballs.
